\Kutaisi, in western Georgia, is a city of 250,000 and is a center of art and culture with an opera house and theater and museums. There are sculptures and statues of poets and artists all over the city.

The Democratic Republic of Georgia existed for three years (1918-1921) before being annexed by Russia. During that time, this was the uniform of their Air Force. This image is found all over Georgia today (I think it has a kind of Mandalorian look to it.):

Today was quite rainy all day and we spent most of the day driving.... tomorrow will be 5 hours or so on the road as well, but the weather should be clearer.... here's hoping!
